Our colleagues Simone Metzner and Thorsten Leist visited this year’s Formnext – Where ideas take shape in Frankfurt. As part of this visit, they met with colleagues from TÜV NORD Systems GmbH & Co. KG and Additive Marking GmbH to discuss the iAM APPROVED portal and their joint collaboration.
What is iAM APPROVED?
The additive manufacturing market is growing steadily and is being used in more and more areas. Quality assurance is becoming a key issue. ALTER | HTV offers a wide range of analyses for additive manufacturing, which will also be available via the iAM APPROVED portal in the future. This portal is operated by Additive Marking GmbH and TÜV NORD GROUP.
Advantages of the iAM APPROVED portal
Customers benefit from uncomplicated access to relevant testing services and receive traceable accompanying samples. These samples are printed directly in the process and make it possible to document the quality of the additive manufacturing process. The accompanying production samples are checked, automatically serialised and are clearly traceable. After the test, a digital test certificate is created in the form of a test report.
